This is the post where I do my best not to commit the cardinal sin of blogging (explaining/apologising for your lack of recent posts), whilst simultaneously taking my metaphorical hat off to all the bloggers who manage to keep posting throughout their major life changes. But now that the majority of boxes are unpacked, the jobs are started and the broadband is connected I can get back to typing.
Since we moved up north we’ve been blessed with some uncharacteristically good weather, last weekend we managed to go climbing both days, go for a lovely walk and socialise with my brother and his wife. This weekend however is my first one flying solo, two days to myself in a new place, with the sun shining – what to do? My current agenda involves rewatching one of my favourite shows ever, doing some yoga, going for a hike and then meeting a friend for breakfast and a climb. And if that wasn’t exciting enough, my Australian sister-in-law’s first baby is due this Sunday – eeek! What do you have planned? Any tips for a northern newbie?
