This week I’ve had a strong case of the Instagram Blues. You know, when you realise that you have to drive for hours to be somewhere that even remotely looks like the places other (cooler) peoples’ feeds are full of. And then you realise that there is nowhere in the country you live in where you could be photographed in a bikini, on a SUP, with crystal clear waters below you. Don’t even get me started on #vanlife
Sometimes living near a city makes you feel like a bit of an adventure fraud, constantly having to answer the question “where exactly do you climb?” and then feeling very guilty about your carbon footprint when you look at your car’s odometer. This weekend, we’ll no doubt travel to do something fun but we’re also going to make the most of the benefits urban living brings. Like going to the cinema… twice! I’m planning on seeing this and this. More excitingly though, we’re going to have our very own night at the museum – complete with cocktails! Do you ever get the Instagram Blues? Any coping mechanisms (other than moving somewhere awesome)?
Couples that climb together stay together.
This tickled my filmmaker funny bone.
Similarly, this plus size ballerina is kickass.
Having trekked in the Annapurnas I definitely take my hat off to these guys.
Trying to decide which one of these to buy.
And when I do, swotting up on how to look after it.
Crushing pretty hard on this home makeover.
I’m in need of a new hair towel – has anyone tried these?
We’ve totally been binge watching this TV show this week. Get on it.
